Making it happen in Nottinghamshire
LINk Workshops 2010
The LINk host team ran a very successful events campaign in the second half of 2009, which saw an incredible 200 new participants sign up to the LINk. Following on from this, the team is in the process of arranging a number of workshops for participants to get involved in.
The first workshop is taking place on the 29th January in Newark. The second is on the 5th February in Bassetlaw and the third takes place on the 12th February in Beeston. All three will be looking at ‘What are the priorities for improving health and social care for communities’ in each area.
Please see following adverts for more information. If you have a point to raise and would like attend, please contact the host team on 0115 975 4647 or email k.jeffery@carersfederation.co.uk

Nottinghamshire County LINk
Priorities for 2010 – 2011
Nottinghamshire County LINk will be holding a three staged event to establish its priorities for 2010 – 2011.
STAGE 1 – LOCAL WORKSHOPS (January / February 2010)
Six workshops will be held across Nottinghamshire to give local people the opportunity to put forward their issues in their community.
STAGE 2 – ISSUES PANEL (February 2010)
A group of LINk participants will finalise the prioritisation of issues put forward from the workshops, as well as issues raised in 2009 that have not yet been dealt with.
STAGE 2 – WORK PLAN LAUNCH CONFERENCE (March 2010)
A conference will be held to launch and publicise the new work plan and give people the opportunity to join Task and Finish Groups, which will be looking into the newly prioritised issues.
If you are interested in taking part in any of these stages, please let us know so that we can register your interest!
