LINk is coming to Bassetlaw!
LINk is holding stalls in Worksop and Retford to meet members of the community and find out what they think about their local health and social care services.
- Worksop Market Place on the 20th and 25th August 2010
- Retford Market Place on the 19th and 26th August 2010
- Retford library on the first Friday morning of the month starting 6th August 2010.
- Worksop library on the second Friday of the month starting 10th September 2010.
- Langold library on the afternoon of the 7th September 2010.
- Carlton in Lindrick Library on the afternoon of the 8th September 2010.
- Older persons resource centre (The Butter Market Retford) first Thursday of every month starting 2nd September 2010.
- Bassetlaw and Doncaster Hospitals Annual General Meeting Tuesday 21 September 2010
- Bassetlaw CVS funding Fair 28TH September 2010 at The Well Retford Baptist Church.

The Nottinghamshire County LINk is holding a meeting to discuss the content of the White Paper, and to begin to put together a consultation response. This meeting is due to take place on Thursday 19th August 2010, 1-4pm at Top Valley Community Centre, Unit 6, Top Valley Way, Nottingham, NG5 9DD.
All LINk members are welcome to attend, however please note this is a meeting to discuss the paper and formulate a consultation response, there will be no formal presentations.

Capita’s Personalisation in Health and Social Care Conference
This conference, on Tuesday 19th October 2010 in Central London, aims to demonstrate how health services and local authorities can bring together the strategic and practical aspects of integrating services, to deliver the Coalition Government’s agenda on personalisation.
Significant funding constraints over the coming period means that the NHS and local authorities have to invest in integrating health and social care services to combine efforts, avoid duplication and make the most of shared resources.
