Get ‘e-QIPP-ed’ for neurology in Nottingham
Why get ‘e-QIPP-ed’? Neurological Commissioning Support (NCS) is running a series of free Roadshows across the country to raise awareness of ‘QIPP’ and its relevance to neurology.
The FREE to attend roadshow is being held on 29th February 2012, De Vere Village, Nottingham, Brailsford Way, Chilwell, Beeston, Nottingham, NG9 6DL.

Mencap Survey
At the moment the Government is asking people what could make life better for disabled people. They have written down some ideas for a strategy but want disabled people, and the people in their lives to tell them whether these are the right things to do, or whether there are other things that are more important.
Mencap will be telling the Government what people with a learning disability, their friends, family and carers think needs to change. They want to hear from you about what you think is most important, so you can share these ideas with the Government.

Launch of new stroke service at King’s Mill Hospital
The new service will operate from 8.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday (including public holidays). Weekend and out of hours thrombolysis treatment will continue to be provided at City Hospital, Nottingham. Please click here for more information about the New Stroke Service.

Newark Mind are running an information clinic for over 50′s, providing information on mental health issues that may be affecting your day to day living. Offering:
- signposting on to relevant organisations
- signposting with a variety of issues such as housing, benefits enquiries, supporting carer’s and employment
- support to contact agencies and other organisations
- short term input at the clinic to work through the process of identified issues
