Health, Wealth and Happiness for Older people
Nottinghamshire Law Society is hosting a free one day conference on Monday 26 March at the Nottingham Contemporary at Weekday Cross.
The event will run from 10am – 3.30pm, during which time a series of short talks will be given by solicitors from Nottinghamshire Law Society and representatives from a number of local groups.
Topics will include:
- The importance of making a will
- Care home fees and deprivation of assets
- Making and registering a lasting power of attorney
- Mental capacity issues
- Dealing with financial abuse
- Support in the home and support in the community

March is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.
The Prostate Cancer Charity are working with men affected by prostate cancer and their families, health professionals, policy-makers and others to develop a set of standards that outline the best quality care that all men with prostate cancer need.

Breast Cancer Awareness Event
