Volunteer Drivers Wanted
Ashfield Voluntary Action is working with Central Nottinghamshire Cancer Patients and Carer Forum (3Cs) to provide volunteer drivers to take cancer patients for treatment at the City hospital in Nottingham. The project will initially focus on the Sutton in Ashfield area and then we will look at how it may be rolled out further. For more information please view the Volunteer Driver Advert.

NUH Carers Card
Caring for Carers Cards at NUH
A new card designed for carers at NUH has been launched. The card, titled ‘Caring for Carers at NUH’ has been designed as a useful aid for carers, directing them where to get further information, advice and help while they are being treated at NUH.
Staff are asked to identify if patients are carers or being cared for on admission and give out the cards to those who are Carers as appropriate. To view an example of the card please click here Carers Card FINAL.
