Capita’s Personalisation in Health and Social Care Conference

This conference, on Tuesday 19th October 2010 in central London, aims to demonstrate how health services and local authorities can bring together the strategic and practical aspects of integrating services, to deliver the Coalition Government’s agenda on personalisation.

Significant funding constraints over the coming period means that the NHS and local authorities have to invest in integrating health and social care services to combine efforts, avoid duplication and make the most of shared resources.

LOOKING AFTER OUR COMMUNITY

The 2010 annual general meeting for Nottingham City LINk will take place on 22^nd June from 4.30pm until 7.30pm at Djanogly College (Theatre and Restaurant Area), Gregory Boulevard Campus, Forest Fields, Nottingham.

Delegates will be updated on the achievements of LINk to date. LINk participants, partners and the general public will be invited to join LINk in its activities happening during this financial year.

Elections will also be taking place and the following positions will be filled on the Board of Directors: Chair; Vice-Chair; Finance Officer; Communications Officer; Training Officer; Governance & Complaints Officer.

The theme of this year’s AGM is ‘Looking After Our Community’ and we have a Celebrity Guest Speaker who will be passing on valuable messages along this theme to the audience.

A buffet and refreshments will be provided for all attendees. If your organisation would like to take a free exhibition stand at the AGM, please do let me know as soon as possible.

The aim of the AGM is to evidence the successful partnership working that occurs across the city and to focus on the best practice examples of meeting the needs of local communities. The AGM will provide an opportunity to revisit old connections and cultivate new ones, while showing how communities and neighbours support each other.
