CQC HealthWatch Survey
The Care Quality Commission Healthwatch team have launched a short survey to gain feedback on some key messages about Healthwatch – about what they do, how they do it and why. These have been developed with a range of stakeholders and the team now need your views to help them refine these messages and make sure that what they are focussing on resonates with you.

Are you a carer?

Ben is a student at Sheffield Hallam University and wants to “give hope to carers who might not feel like there is much at the moment”. There are only 8 questions. Please click here to access the survey before the 8th March deadline.

Commissioning Outcomes Framework
NICE has launched a consultation on potential indicators for the proposed Commissioning Outcomes Framework (COF) which will be used to improve the quality of commissioned health services and drive up standards of patient care across England. The Commissioning Outcomes Framework is an accountability framework for clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) which will form part of the process for commissioning healthcare services in the NHS of the future.
The consultation is open for a four week period from Wednesday 1 February and will close at 5.00pm on Wednesday 29 February 2012.

Consultation on HIV postitve healthcare workers

Analysis of previous consultations
The Department of Health carried out a consultation on allocation options for distribution of additional funding to local authorities for Local HealthWatch, NHS Complaints Advocacy and PCT Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DOLS) in hospitals.
